Malaysia’s longest running food and beverage industry event marks its 18th year and this year, the exhibition also marks its third year as a full ‘trade fair’.

MIFB 2017 will give you an insight into what is new and exciting within the food and beverage industry. These trends are based on developing and emerging consumer demand for products that are healthy, convenient and trustworthy and are informed by our work and association with producers, manufacturers, and, clients across Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa and the US.

MIFB 2017 expects to showcase more than 550 exhibitors from 40 countries or more. To-date, we are confirmed hosting Country Group Pavilions from South Korea, Thailand, China, Taiwan R.O.C., Sri Lanka and expect more based on the positive enquiries we are receiving.

Working in line with current food trends, MIFB 2017 will give importance to the Healthy and Natural Produce exhibits. The focus will be on Ready to Eat, Food Ingredients, Health and Organic and Halal Food produces. The Healthy and Natural Produce will be under the F&B segment which forms one of the three specialised segments of the MIFB series. The other two segments are Foodtech and Seafood & Fishery.

This year, Sphere Exhibits is collaborating with Halal Media Japan to introduce a new segment, the International Halal Village, which promotes healthy and natural food. This halal village will host food producers and food experts from various countries like Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and more, allowing those in Kuala Lumpur to showcase their Halal products. This serves as a halal market platform and caters to the needs of the halal producers, traders and business leaders sourcing products and looking for partners to expand their business.
